'Ukrainians in Calderdale Ltd' is a new group set up to help new Ukrainian arrivals in the area and work in conjunction with a number of local charities.They have been invloved in sending humanitarian and medical aid back to Ukraine.

King's Centre at Park Road, Halifax, HX1 2TS has kindly offered their cafe as a focal point for sponsors and new arrivals to Calderdale. We also work alongside Calder Cares for Ukraine who have been extremely helpful in organising ESOL classes, coffee mornings, art classes as well as social gatherings. In addition Halifax Rotarians have contributed to language books, vouchers and social gatherings. 'On track' for the refurbished bicycles and the freemasons for their advice and financial assistance.
We now liase with 'Huddersfield to Ukraine' which delivers aid to Ukraine on a monthly basis as can be seen by their regular updates on facebook
